Voicemail to email

If someone calls your Privify number, the call goes straight to voicemail. The recording is emailed to you as an audio file. You won't miss anything important — without ever having to answer a call.

Calls go to voicemail automatically. No live call answering.

Your real number is
none of their business.

Every time you hand out your mobile number, you lose a little control. Privify gives you a number to use in its place.

Your number knows more
about you than
you realise.

Your mobile number is tied to your identity, your accounts, and your history. Every time you share it, you give someone a thread that connects to all of it.

"I signed up for something and now I get calls from numbers I don't recognise. I have no idea who sold my number."
With Privify, you give out a number that isn't connected to you. Stop the spam before it starts.
"A date I met online started texting obsessively. I couldn't do anything without changing my actual number."
Use your Privify number until you're sure. If you need a clean break, just stop using it.
"I changed my number and now I can't get into my HSBC account — the verification code goes to my old one."
When you change your number, port the old one to Privify first. Codes keep arriving — nothing gets left behind.

Simple pricing.
No surprises.

One number, everything included. No per-message charges, no hidden costs.

One-time setup fee: £12 — charged when your number is provisioned, covering the cost of setting up your dedicated UK mobile number. After that, it's just £5.99/month. No contracts, cancel any time.

Changing your number?
Port the old one first.

Most people abandon their old number when they switch — then spend years locked out of accounts tied to it. There's a better way.

Step 01

Get a PAC from your network

Before cancelling your old number, text PAC to 65075 or call your network. They're legally required to give it to you within 2 hours, free of charge.

Step 02

Sign up and share your PAC

Create your Privify account and let us know you want to port a number. Share your PAC and we'll handle the rest. The one-time £12 setup fee covers the port.

Step 03

Live within a working day

Ports typically complete within one working day. From then, every text sent to your old number arrives in your Privify inbox — forwarded to your email straight away.

Do this before you cancel, not after. Porting only works while your number is still active. Once cancelled, a number can only be recovered within one month. After that it is gone permanently.

Things people ask
before signing up.

How does email forwarding work?
Every SMS that arrives on your Privify number is automatically forwarded to the email address you signed up with. The email includes who the message was from and the full text. There's nothing to set up — it happens from the moment your number is active.
Can I change the email address messages are forwarded to?
Yes — you can update your forwarding email address any time from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately.
What's the setup fee for?
The £12 one-time setup fee covers the cost of provisioning your dedicated UK mobile number. It's charged once when your number is activated and doesn't recur. Your £5.99/month subscription covers everything else — forwarding, storage, and support.
How quickly will I get my number?
Numbers are typically assigned within 24 hours of signing up. We set each one up individually to make sure everything works correctly. You'll get an email the moment your number is ready.
Will it work for bank OTPs and HMRC?
We provide genuine UK mobile numbers through an established UK telecoms provider, and most major services including banks and HMRC work well with them. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee — if it doesn't work for your use case, we'll refund you in full.
Can people call the number?
They can call it, but you won't be able to answer live — all inbound calls go straight to voicemail. The recording is emailed to you as an audio file once the caller hangs up. Privify is built for receiving texts, not for taking calls. If live call handling is important to you, Privify may not be the right fit.
Is the number permanently mine?
Your number is yours for as long as you're subscribed. We don't rotate or share numbers between customers. If you cancel, we hold the number for 30 days before releasing it — so you can come back without losing it.
Can I send texts from the number?
Not currently — Privify is focused on receiving messages. Outbound SMS is on our roadmap. If this is important to you, let us know when you sign up.
Is my data private and secure?
All messages are stored encrypted on UK-based servers. We comply with UK GDPR, don't sell your data, and don't serve ads. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your settings.
Can I port my existing number to Privify?
Yes — if your number is still active, you can port it to Privify and keep receiving texts on it indefinitely. You'll need a PAC code from your current network first. Text PAC to 65075 — networks are legally required to provide it within 2 hours, free of charge. Ports typically complete within one working day. The standard £12 setup fee applies.
What if I've already cancelled my old number?
If your number was cancelled within the last month, it may still be possible to port it — contact us and we'll look into it. If it's been more than a month, the number will have been released and cannot be recovered. This is an industry-wide rule. The best time to port is before you cancel.
Will porting affect my current SIM or phone?
Yes — porting your number to Privify moves it off your current SIM entirely. You'll no longer be able to make calls or send texts from it on your phone. For most people using Privify for number migration this is fine — you've already moved to a new number and just want to keep receiving texts on the old one.
Does porting cost extra compared to a new number?
No — the setup fee is the same £12 whether you're porting an existing number or getting a fresh one. The monthly plan cost is identical too.
